How to download and install AccuZIP6 bimonthly updates

Follow the instructions below to download and install the AccuZIP6 bimonthly update.

Visit accuzip.com/updates
Log in with your AccuZIP6 10-digit account number and 5-digit ZIP Code associated with the account
There will be two downloads available: One for computers with an operating system newer than Windows 7, and another for computers with Windows 7 and newer (rare). Choose the download based on your operating system.
Note the Username and Password directly above the download link, then click Download
Enter the Username and Password from the Updates page
By default, the bimonthly update will download into your Downloads folder. Once the download has finished, browse to your Downloads folder and follow the instructions below:

PRIMARY DOWNLOAD (For Operating Systems Newer than Windows 7) Double-click on the downloaded accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15.iso file You may receive a prompt asking if you want to open this file. Click Open Double-click on Setup.exe to begin the installation

Double-click on the downloaded accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15.iso file
You may receive a prompt asking if you want to open this file. Click Open
Double-click on Setup.exe to begin the installation

ALTERNATE .ZIP FILE DOWNLOAD (Windows 7 and Newer) Right-click on the downloaded file and choose Extract All The extraction will create a folder with the same name as the downloaded file. For example, extracting the downloaded accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15.zip file will create a folder named accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15 Open the accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15 folder, then open the Disk 1 folder Right-click on the Setup application (Setup.exe) and choose Run As Administrator to begin the installation

ALTERNATE .ZIP FILE DOWNLOAD

(Windows 7 and Newer)

Right-click on the downloaded file and choose Extract All
The extraction will create a folder with the same name as the downloaded file. For example, extracting the downloaded accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15.zip file will create a folder named accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15
Open the accuzipdvd20240415v507231b1d20240326t1218_cKku1qkKuTWL7B15 folder, then open the Disk 1 folder
Right-click on the Setup application (Setup.exe) and choose Run As Administrator to begin the installation

At the AccuZIP6 5.0-InstallShield Wizard window, click Next
At the User Account Control screen, click Yes
If you receive a License Agreement screen, choose I accept the terms in the license agreement, and click Next
Enter your 10-digit account number if prompted, and choose Install this application for Anyone who uses this computer. Click Next to Continue
You'll be prompted for Destination folders for the AccuZIP6 5.0 program and the AccuZIP6 5.0 Database, which is your USPS Database files. Click Next to both screens, then click Install
When the AccuZIP6 installation has finished, you'll be prompted to Install current USPS Database Files. Click Continue
Click Yes to the prompt for performing an upgrade or installation of AccuAddress DVD, which installs your new USPS Database files. Click Next to resume installation

When the installations of AccuZIP6 and the USPS Database files have finished, you'll be ready to use AccuZIP6.

We have been using the AccuZIP software for over seven years now. I believe that being an AccuZIP customer is one of the reasons for our success. Every time a question has arose, AccuZIP answered it completely and competently. When the post office did not have an answer for us AccuZIP did. If there was ever any conflicting info between the Post Office and AccuZIP, our AccuZIP customer service rep was always correct. We have experienced only excellent customer service. Let me make that clear not good customer service, excellent customer service.
