Remove the suffix_ association with name suffix
When you initially open your file in AccuZIP6 and check the Use Header box, AccuZIP6 will assign the field named suffix_ to your suffix field. Validation will populate the suffix_ field with street suffix information, which may replace name suffix data. Here’s how to make sure this doesn’t happen in the future:Pull down the File menu to Properties.
Click on the Fields tab.
Click on Auto Field Maps.
From the field name pull-down menu, choose Suffix_
In the Alternate Field Names table, click on Suffix and hit the X button to remove it.
Click OK, then click OK again. Now suffix_ won’t automatically be associated with the suffix field from your database. And because of that, validation won’t alter that field.
