Direct Mail RESTful API Usage Policy
1. Transaction-Based Pricing
- You are charged per job based on the number of records in the mailing list.
- Example:
- Job 1: 1,500 records: $6.00
- Job 2: 5,500 records: $11.00
- Total cost: $17.00
- You are billed only once per job, regardless of how many times you download the resulting files (*.csv, *.zip, *.pdf, etc.).
2. Preview Files
- The Preview Print Ready file contains the first 25 records, is non-billable, and is intended only for review/testing.
- Uploading and processing a file without downloading the result, or downloading only the preview, is non-billable.
- Downloading results using any call other than =prev is a billable event.
3. Download Ratio Requirement
- The number of files downloaded (excluding previews) divided by the number of files uploaded must exceed 50% in any billing period.
- Example: 30 downloads / 100 uploads = 30% → Violation.
- If a customer violates the API Usage Policy, we will issue an invoice for each job at the API Usage Policy Violation rate (10% of the standard price)
- Accounts continuing to fall below this threshold may be suspended or disabled for attempting to obtain free value from the system.
4. Advanced Quote Policy
- Free if the job becomes a billable transaction.
- Free for non-billable jobs that are never processed and downloaded.
- Exception: If Advanced Quotes for non-billable jobs exceed 50% of total jobs processed in a month, an Advanced Quote fee will apply.
5. Billing Trigger
- No charges apply when uploading or processing a file.
- Charges (or credit deductions) occur when you download a non-preview file from our service.
6. Terms & Licensing
Use of AccuZIP products and services confirms acceptance of our licensing terms, privacy policies, terms and conditions, and SLAs posted at www.accuzip.com, including any updates.
