The Select Menu is where you'll go to query and search on data, select batches of records, perform duplicate detections, and show various sets of records based on predetermined criteria.
New Record - Add a new record to the active file. New records are automatically appended to the end of the list.
Carry Data Forward - With Carry Data Forward checked, AccuZIP6 will automatically copy the contents of the selected record to the newly created record when using the New Record command or hotkey.
Show All - Cancels any active selection and displays the active database in its entirety.
Show - Selecting the Show item will display a submenu that queries and displays selections based on record status: Deliverable, Undeliverable, Multi-Matched, Not Attempted, Invalid Zip Codes, Marked, Deleted, Marked and Deleted, and Background. For a description of these record status types, see the Record Status link.
Show Duplicates - Launches AccuZIP6's powerful Duplicate Detection window. Search by either a set of Basic match criteria: Person (First, Last, Address, City, St, and Zip fields), Address (Company, Address, City, St, and Zip fields), or Household (Last, Address, City, St, Zip fields), or an infinite number of match codes in the robust User Defined match code setup.
Merge/Purge - Compare multiple files with one another. Use the Merge/Purge function to generate new data files from multiple sources; use suppression or Do Not Mail lists, merge fields, and more.
Quick Find - Quickly jump to the "Find" text box at the top of the list view. Using the Quick Find feature defaults to the active field shown in the Field pulldown.
Search Editor - Launches AccuZIP6's dynamic and powerful Search Editor feature. Query and select data using a staggering number of search types for an infinite number of query possibilities. Use conjunctions to create independent groupings of query strings and more. For more information on searching your data, see Using the Search Editor.
Zip Codes in Radius - Run a quick query of the United States Zip Codes table to find all zip codes within a range of your desired origin zip. Input the origin zip code, the minimum and maximum distance to find (in miles), as well as the output location to see data including the zip, distance from the origin zip code, area code, latitude and longitude, and more.
Nth Select - Perform a selection using Nth variables: every Nth number, a flat percentage, or base quantity. Mark or delete the records after selecting, or simply view them on screen. For more information, see Nth Select Screen.
Goto Record - Go to the top or bottom of a list (or a specific record number), quickly from anywhere in the database.
