The file menu is the starting point for most operations within AccuZIP6. You can open new lists, import and export data, set the general properties and behavior of your AccuZIP6 installation, and more.
Open Database - open a list that has been previously converted to AccuZIP6 database format. You can only open lists in dbf format using this command.
Close - close the currently opened database file.
Open List - open any list in AccuZIP6. This can be used to open other file formats, as well as remapping the fields to an existing AccuZIP6 dbf file.
New - create an empty dbf structure, either using the default AccuZIP6 fields table, or basing the new database's structure on a previously created dbf.
Recent Databases - lists the last 10 databases opened in AccuZIP6. Selecting one of the links will open that file directly into AccuZIP.
Save - save the active database. You cannot rename the database using File>Save.
Save As... - save the active database, with the option to rename it and change the saved path.
Import - import an external data source into the active AccuZIP6 database.
Export - export the active AccuZIP6 database content to an external format.
Page Setup - edit label, report, and tag templates. This selection is disabled when not in design view.
Print - go directly to the Print Settings or Report Settings screens to print labels or reports in List View.
Print Presort - print a previously sorted AccuZIP6 database. This will take you to the Print Presort screen, where you can choose your last 10 sorted databases from the dropdown, or open any previous presort.
Backup - compress the active database content into a Winzip file for backup or secure storage.
Restore - extract the contents of a previously compressed database from the Winzip backup file created using File>Backup.
Properties - customize your AccuZIP6 installation. Change default field tables, saved path names, appearance, and more.
Use Alternate Configuration File - select stored settings from a different database's saved INI file.
Exit - close AccuZIP6 and the active database. All content is saved upon exiting.
