USPS Database Expired while linking to USPS Database

USPS Database Expired while linking to USPS Database

If you attempt to link to the USPS Database and get an error message reading USPS Database has expired, then this error can be solved in one of three ways:

Method 1:
Insert the most recent AccuZIP6 DVD.
Browse to the DVD drive.
Open the Program Files folder.
Right click on the ADRDATA folder and choose Copy.
Browse to C:\Program Files (or Program Files (x86) if the AccuZIP6 5.0 folder is in there).
Right click on the AccuZIP6 5.0 folder and choose Paste.


Method 2:
Delete the Plus4cfg.dat file out of the C:\Program Files\AccuZIP6 5.0 folder.


Method 3:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuZIP6 5.0\ADRDATA\National.
Right click on the plus4cfg.dat file and choose Properties.
Remove the Read Only attribute. Hit Apply and OK.


Launch AccuZIP6 and validation should work again
