Command window title bar is hidden under AccuZIP6 title bar

Post by Eric » Thu Apr 03, 2014 9:49 am

use these instructions to fix a situation where the AccuZIP6 command window's title bar is hidden under the AccuZIP6 title bar, making it impossible to move the Command window down.

Exit the AccuZIP6 program.
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuZIP6 5.0\Support

Select the azsettings.dbf and azsettings.fpt files.
Right click on those files and choose Copy.
Right click and choose Paste.
Launch AccuZIP6.
Cancel the Open/Create screen. Pull down File to Open Database. Open the azsettings - copy.dbf in the AccuZIP6 5.0\Support folder.

With that file open, scroll down until you see the Screen field value named COMMANDPOS

Delete that record (click on the rectangle to the left of the record to make it black). Pull down Edit to Pack Database. Click No to backing up the file and click Yes to permanently deleting that record. Close the file.

Back in the Support folder, delete the two files named azsettings.dbf and azsettings.fpt.
Rename azsettings - copy.dbf to azsettings.dbf. rename azsettings - copy.fpt to azsettings.fpt.

Launch AccuZIP6. After opening a database, open the Command window. It will be positioned right in the middle of the screen.
