NCOALink(r) Weekly Data Fulfillment

Primary Audience: NCOALink Full and Limited Service Provider and MPE Data User Licensees

What: The NCOALink data (release number 916) may contain an error in the CLK-FLT.2 files. The 916 release will not be replaced. If you encounter this error, please revert to release 915. You will receive the 917 release as scheduled. (This affects ANKLink matches)

When: Immediately

Impact: Licensees may receive an error from the CLK-FLT.2 file.

What you need to do: Revert to release number 915. Once the 917 release is received, please load accordingly.

As you know, the NCOALink with ANKLink® Data is updated on a weekly basis. The data is updated within 12-hours of receiving the data on DVD media each week.

The new 916 NCOALink with ANKLink Data was received on March 25, 2010 and available to our customers at 5PM PST March 25, 2010. On March 26, 2010 at 7:37AM PST, we received a Licensing Announcement from the NCOALink Department at the USPS, “The NCOALink data (release number 916) may contain an error…”. The USPS Announcement also stated, “If you encounter this error, please revert to release 915”.

Due to this data error, many ANKLink Matches (19-48 Months) were not obtained. AccuZIP Inc. is switching back to the previous week's NCOALink with ANKLink Data immediately.

This change-over will be completed by 1:00PM PST (4:00PM EST)

The ANKLink issue has been fixed, and validation with NCOALink+ANKLink will now run successfully as usual.
