Create your own simplified address list

Post by Dave » Thu Aug 23, 2007 3:17 pm

1. Download the simplified.zip file to your hard drive
2. Extract the “dupwssrecs.FXP” to your AccuZIP6 4.0 Root Directory.
3. Place the Simplified Address Prep.txt file in the C:\Program Files\AccuZIP6 4.0\Commands folder.
4. I have created a template named “Simplified”, place that in a folder on your hard drive where you would like the address lists created.
5. Open the Simplified.dbf from the File>Open Database option
6. Add a record from the Select>New record option.
7. In the COUNT column type the amount of records you would like created for that CRRT+ZIP
8. Fill in the 5 digit ZIP and CRRT for that selection.
9. Repeat steps 6-8 for as many different zips or Crrts you would like.
10. Run the command from the Edit>Command window.
11. The command will fill in the City, ST information plus add -0000 to the zip , "V" in the status_ field and 1 in the Walkseq_ field.
12. AccuZIP6 will write out a time-date stamped file to the same directory as the template.
13. Now you can open the newly created file from the File>Open Database option.
