If you have to remove AZSETTINGS files in order to fix an error in AccuZIP6, removing the AZSETTINGS files will remove your presort, validation, and other settings. Here's how to fix your azsettings files, so you can get those settings back:
Exit the AccuZIP6 5.0 program.
Browse to the C:\Program Files\AccuZIP6 5.0\Support folder
Find azsettings.dbf and rename it, calling it azsettings1.dbf. Rename azsettings.fpt to azsettings1.fpt. Make sure you’re renaming azsettings files, not _azsettings files.
Pull down the File menu to Open Database. Open the Azsettings1.dbf in AccuZIP6
Click on the Look In pull down menu, and choose SCREEN
In the FIND box, type: SCRIPTSELECTOR50
Flag it for deletion, then pull down the Edit menu to PACK database.
Close the database, then browse to the C:\Program Files\AccuZIP6 5.0\Support folder. Delete the azsettings.dbf and azsettings.fpt files.
Rename the azsettings1 files, removing the number 1.
