Computer date forwarding causes AccuZIP6 to become inactive

Post by Eric » Fri Aug 15, 2014 7:58 am

If you accidentally forward-date your computer past the AccuZIP6 license expiration date, then AccuZIP6 will consider your license expired and it won't run. Backdating your computer will be necessary to fix this, but won't necessarily fix the issue. Follow these steps to fix it:

Exit AccuZIP6.
Make sure the computer's date is set to today's date.
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuZIP6 5.0
Delete the license.dat file.
Contact AccuZIP6 support and request a new registration number.
Launch AccuZIP6, then cancel the Open/Create screen.
When asked if you want to activate AccuZIP6, click No.
Give the technician the Account number and Unique ID number that appear on the AccuZIP6 activation screen.
Paste or type in the new registration number, then click Activate.
Chat with an AccuZIP6 technician weekdays from 7-4 PST with AccuZIP6 Live Online Support
