*To create 3 digit pallets instead of skipping 3 digit pallets and making SCF pallets:
[MISC]
3DG PALLET=1
*To turn off 3 digit pallet creation:
[MISC]
3DG PALLET=0
*To set a maximum number of pieces per bundle:
[PIECE INFO]
MAXBUNDLESIZE=
For MAXBUNDLESIZE, you can either use a numeric value for pieces (for example, MAXBUNDLESIZE=50 would create 50 piece bundles), or a value with a quote to indicate thickness of the bundle (so MAXBUNDLESIZE=4" would create 4 inch bundles, rather than 6 inch bundles by default).
*To set the maximum number of trays on a pallet:
[PALLET SIZE]
MIN TRAY=1
MAX TRAY=
If you are trying to make a pallet to put all your mail on, even though you may have a mailing that doesn't meet a minimum quantity to go onto a pallet, or if you have leftover trays that are not going on an existing pallet, you can make a loose pallet by following these instructions:
[PALLETS]
LOOSE PALLET=1
Close the file, then click Yes to save the changes.
Presort your list again, and your mail should be able to go on one pallet.
*To set a minimum number of pieces in a Firm Bundle:
[PIECE INFO]
FIRMBUNDLESIZE=6
*Firm Bundle settings to help determine which records should be part of a firm bundle:
[PIECE INFO]
FB COMPANY=
FB FIELD=
Note: The ADDRESS field is ALWAYS used when determining if a group of records should create a FIRM package.
FB COMPANY=
0= Do not use the Company field when creating FIRM packages
1= Uses Company field when creating FIRM Packages
FB FIELD=org
Replace "org" with another field name that you would like to use in "addition" to the ADDRESS and/or Company name for creating FIRM packages.
You can use any combination of FB COMPANY= and FB FIELD=. For example, you could set FB COMPANY=0 and FB FIELD=MyCustomField, or FB COMPANY=1 and FB FIELD= or FB COMPANY=0 and FB FIELD=MyCustomField.
*If you want to make it so the EZ Forms don't print without having to delete the EZ Form files, follow these instructions:
[STATEMENTS]
EZFORMOFF=1
To ignore minimum requirements for pounds or linear feet on a pallet and to put loose pieces staying at your local entry on a pallet, add this:
[PALLET SIZE]
MIXEDCONTAINERONPALLET=1
[DROP SHIPMENTS]
SCFDROPMIN=200
BMCDROPMIN=200
SCFENTRYMIN=1
BMCENTRYMIN=200
PERDDUDROPMIN=6
ENTSCF=1
**To set the "default" weight of each container for the following types, add these settings:
*Note: Only use this setting for this specific purpose: If you want to factor in the sack (or pallet) weight (multiplied by the number of containers in the drop) into the Gross Weight of each drop on the 8125 reports.
