Rollover MID's Proper Use

Post by Eric » Thu Oct 15, 2020 8:55 am

If you're using the Rollover MID feature in AccuZIP6, there is no need to put your main Mailer ID in the Rollover MID's section. The Rollover Mailer ID's are the Mailer ID's that are used after the Main Mailer ID has exceeded 1 million serials. Since this is the case, you wouldn't want your main Mailer ID to rollover to the same Mailer ID. So keep your main Mailer ID out of the Rolllover MID's area.

Correct Way:

Incorrect Way (Main Mailer ID is repeated as rollover Mailer ID):

When your main Mailer ID is not in your Rollover MID's box, then you will receive the following message when your range is about to exceed 1 million. This message indicates that a rollover Mailer ID is about to be used:

When your main Mailer ID is in the Rollover MID's box, defeating the purpose of having a Rollover MID function, then you will receive the following message when your range is about to exceed 1 million, indicating the serial range is about to start repeating for the same Mailer ID:
