AccuZIP6 Technotes

If you receive this error message while trying to open a database, follow these instructions to fix the error:

1. Exit AccuZIP6, then locate your file on your computer
2. Where you'll find your file, you'll also find a .cdx file with the same name as your database, in the same location (for example, if your database name is called pizza.dbf, you'll find a pizza.cdx file in the same folder as the pizza.dbf)
3. Delete the .cdx file, then launch AccuZIP6.
4. Cancel the Open/Create screen, then pull down the File menu to Open Database.
5. Open your .dbf file. You'll get an error: Structural CDX not found. Click OK from that error.
6. Pull down the File menu to Open Database again, then open that .dbf file again. This time, the file will open successfully.
