If you are getting an error message when presorting that states, "Warning! Your selection contains only 0 records!", check the following items.

1. Make sure you have enough valid records to presort.
   1. From the Select menu, choose Show>Deliverable.
   2. A count will display at the bottom of the screen. You need over 200 valid records for Standard Class and over 500 valid records for First Class.
2. The ZIP field must be 10 characters wide in order to fit the zip and the +4.
   1. From the Edit menu, choose Fields.
   2. Click on the ZIP field and change the width to 10.
   3. Click OK, then click Yes when prompted to make structure changes permanent.
   4. Re-validate the list.
3. Make sure you have Validated your records and added the status information.
   1. From the Special menu, choose Validate Records.
   2. Check the box, 'Record Status' under Output.
   3. Click Validate.
4. Make sure the Status information is in a field named Status_.
   1. From the Edit menu, choose Fields.
   2. Scroll through and make sure you have a field named Status_.
   3. If the field is named something else, such as status without the underscore, click on it and change the name.
   4. Click OK, then click Yes to make structure changes permanent.
