AccuZIP6 Technotes

The error message, "Detail band is too large to fit on page", will come up when trying to print labels using a label template with a detail band height larger than the paper size height set in the label template. The following instructions will tell you how to edit the paper size and detail band height.

Direct Imprint Printers:

1. Edit the label template in AccuZIP6 by clicking on the Edit Template button in the Print Settings window.
2. From the File menu, choose Page Setup.
3. Click on the Page Setup button.
4. Click on the Printers button.
5. Select the appropriate printer driver and set the paper size to Letter, 8 1/2 X 11.
6. Click OK, and then click OK again.
7. Double-click on the detail bar. (You may have to scroll down to see the Detail bar).
8. Change the height of the Detail band to 11 inches and click OK.
9. From the File menu, choose Page Setup.
10. Change the Print Area from Printable Page to Whole Page. Click OK.
11. Close the label template and save changes when prompted.
12. Try printing again.

Bryce 24K and Bryce 30K Printers

Follow instructions for Direct Imprint Printers, but change the Detail band height to 2.95 inches. There is only one paper size option in the printer driver. In the label template, anything in the top 1 1/2 inches will print using the first head on the printer and anything in the bottom 1 1/2 inches will print on the second head on the printer. Adjust the heads accordingly to print where you want on the mail piece.

Rena DA612 and DA613 printers:

Follow instructions for Direct Imprint Printers, but change the Detail band height to 1.5 inches.

Rena DA615 printers:

Follow instructions for Direct Imprint Printers, but change the Detail band height to 2 inches.
