In AccuZIP6, pull down the Help menu to Tech Support, and choose Rapid Assist.
Click on the link at the top of the web page saying Click Here to launch RapidAssist.
You may see a security notice near the top of your browser like the one displayed below, in Yellow. Click on that security notice to install Jaunt Launch, which will allow you to install RapidAssist.
The RapidAssist screen is displayed, the user types in their name, and clicks submit.
A window appears asking the user to grant the technician permission to access their computer. The user grants the technician's request by clicking on the "Yes" button.
A window is displayed on the technician's desktop that show's the user's desktop.
A friendly window is displayed on the user's screen with the title "Assist", indicating that the technician is helping them online.
The user and the technician are now seeing the same thing, and can focus on communicating about solving the problem, instead of describing the screen.
The technician can request to remotely control the user's computer. The user grants remote control permission to the technician. The friendly window title changes to "Control" to indicate that the technician has remote control permission.
The technician and user share control of the mouse and keyboard.
The customer's problem is solved in a fraction of the time it may have taken otherwise!
