Changes made to AccuTrace in order to speed report loading

We have made some minor, but important changes to our AccuTrace interface.
The changes listed below will allow you and your team to work more quickly through the AccuTrace interface when working with larger databases that contain more than 10,000 records.
Prior to this change, when you select or export one of the reports listed below, it may have taken several minutes to display or export the results. This delay basically "locked" the cloud interface so you could not view other reports until the query process completed.

The changes below affect jobs that contains more than 10,000 records only, and only three of the reports.

Out for Delivery (All) - When this report is selected and only when there are more than 10,000 tracking code records, a Nightly Report dialog will appear. Click OK and the report will be emailed to the email addresses listed in the Job Email box later that evening. No data will appear in the grid. This allows you to continue working in AccuTrace to view or export other reports.

The "Out for Delivery (by Date)" and "Out for Delivery (Today)" reports are not affected. For example, if your database contained 2-million records, and you wanted to view the mail-pieces that were Out for Delivery on a certain day, you could select "Out for Delivery (by Date)" or "Out for Delivery (Today)" to see the results in real-time.

Results by Single Piece - You can still search and see your data in the grid in "real-time" like normal. Only when you click the Export button, and there are more than 10,000 tracking code records in the database, will a Nightly Report dialog will appear. Click OK and the report will be emailed to the email addresses listed in the Job Email box later that evening.

This change will give you a much better experience while working in AccuTrace. We are developing a new, robust interface for AccuTrace and hope to launch the new interface January 2014.

A note about refreshing reports in AccuTrace

The queries that build the caches all run independently, so the main Scan% will update at a separate time than the other reports. We are in the process of denormalizing the data and implementing our new DWH, which will streamline and make all of the caching more frequent. We have added a refresh button next to the Report selection so you can click it to refresh at the time you are looking at a report. The auto caching is nice because it is instantly available to you when you login with little to no waiting.
