The SuiteLink Product will enable customers to provide improved business addressing information by adding known secondary (suite) information to business addresses, which will allow USPS delivery sequencing where it would not otherwise be possible. Records that have been processed through CASS Certified™ ZIP + 4® address matching software and identified as highrise defaults are potential candidates for SuiteLink processing.

If your address is determined to be a highrise address and you have a company field in your database with company information, validation with Suitelink can potentially add missing suite numbers to your addresses.

Follow the instructions below to enable SuiteLink in AccuZIP6:

Insert the AccuZIP6 August/September 2009 DVD into the DVD drive.

Browse to the DVD Drive.

Open the Program Files folder, then open the AMSDATA folder. Open the Suitelink folder.

Right click on the file named slkhdr01.dat and choose Copy.

Browse to the C:\Program Files\AccuZIP6 5.0\AMSDATA\SuiteLink folder (if you don't have the SuiteLink folder inside the AccuZIP6 5.0\AMSDATA folder, it might be located in the C:\Program Files folder).

Right click inside the folder and choose Paste.

Launch AccuZIP6, cancel the Open/Create screen, then pull down File to Properties.

Click on the USPS Links tab.

Click on the button to the right of SuiteLink.

Locate the slk.ebc in the AccuZIP6 5.0\AMSDATA\Suitelink folder and double click on it.

Click Connect, and you will now have SuiteLink enabled.
