Both the CASS and NCOA calls run SYNC so the web service call does not release until the processes are completed. Then you can perform the next step, CASS… wait… NCOA using that GUID.
Here is the workflow you need to follow for outputting the fields you want:
• UPLOAD FILE
• CASS
• UPDATE QUOTE
o PUT { "additional_output_fields":"dpv_;dpvnotes_;status_;type_;dfl_;matchflag_;nxi_;ank_;dsf_busind"}
• NCOA
• DOWNLOAD
If you call PUT before CASS, then the NCOALink process does not have all of the fields necessary to perform the next step.
You can also perform these steps instead
• UPLOAD FILE
• UPDATE QUOTE
o PUT { "additional_output_fields":"dpv_;dpvnotes_;status_;type_;dfl_;matchflag_;nxi_;ank_;dsf_busind"}
• NCOA
• DOWNLOAD
If you call just NCOA, the records will be CASS and NCOA at the same time.
If you are going to also presort, you can make these calls:
• UPLOAD FILE
• UPDATE QUOTE
o PUT ALL PRESORT INFORMATION AND "additional_output_fields":"dpv_;dpvnotes_;status_;type_;dfl_;matchflag_;nxi_;ank_;dsf_busind"
• CASS-NCOA-DUPS-PRESORT
• DOWNLOAD
Again, these are SYNC calls and when the web service releases control, you can download the file, or perform your next steps.
