Post by Eric » Thu Jun 03, 2010 2:32 pm

The USPS’ labeling list (L011) has changed, causing much confusion in the mailing community. A link to the new labeling list is below. Here is the rule for Standard Mail Letters:

http://pe.usps.gov/text/qsg300/Q240c.htm

Mixed AADC
Trays: Required for all remaining pieces placed in mixed AADC trays; group pieces by AADC when overflow pieces from AADC trays are placed in mixed AADC trays; only one less-than-full tray permitted per mailing.
Barcoded Labels: For Line 1, L011, Column B

From the DMM:

7.5 Tray Preparation
d. Mixed AADC: required (no minimum); group pieces by AADC when overflow pieces from AADC trays are placed in mixed AADC trays. For Line 1 labeling: use L011, Column B. Use L010, Column B if entered at an ASF or NDC or for mail placed on an ASF, NDC, or SCF pallet under the option in705.8.10.3.
