Open window appearing when clicking Validate

Open window appearing when clicking Validate

If an open window appears when you click on the validate button in the validate records window, it's because the FIELDS.DBF and FIELDS.FPT files are corrupted.

That corruption causes the Open window to appear when Validating because the new database with added fields could not be created.

A new fields.dbf and .fpt for the AccuZIP6 5.0\Support folder will fix the issue.

If that doesn't fix it, you'll need a new copy of autofields.dbf and autofields.dat for the Support folder.

*Another reason for this is if you have too many fields in your database. AccuZIP has a maximum field limit of 254 fields. Validation adds fields to your database so if you have close to 254 fields prior to validation, try deleting some of the unnecessary fields before you validate.
