JOBTITLE setting in maildat

Post by Eric » Fri Feb 10, 2012 12:49 pm

The information for the Mailing Statement Description comes from the JOBTITLE= setting.

If the JOBTITLE= is empty, we use the Database Name.

If you open the C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuZIP6 5.0\iPresort\INI Defaults\MAILDAT.INI file with any text editor, then search for the JOBTITLE=, remove everything after that.

When AccuZIP6 5.0 presorts, it looks in these files in this order until it finds a value in JOBTITLE=:

1. C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuZIP6 5.0\Scripts\Presorts\*.ini
- We use the file that has the same name as the Saved Presort name

2. Local *.ini. This is the Databases.ini file, e.g., dist138d.ini

If no information is found, we use the name of your database with no extension, e.g., DIST138D

The maximum length is 30 characters.
