Post by Eric » Mon Apr 07, 2014 10:09 am

These commands work with all 13-1 Mail.dat files create by AccuZIP6 5.0.

From the Print Presort window, you can create a “Cancel” file and “Delete” file that can be used to Cancel, and then Delete a job on PostalOne! Just click the Cancel and Delete Mail.dat Job button on the Print Presort window and follow the instructions on the dialog that appears after the files are modified.

If you want to change the Weight or Date after you have uploaded to PostalOne!, follow these steps:

First, download the attached files and then extract them into the C:\Program Files (x86)\AccuZIP6 5.0 folder:

http://www.accuzip.com/files/commands/md_changelb.zip
http://www.accuzip.com/files/commands/m ... ngdate.zip

Changing the weight:
• Open the database
• From the Edit menu, choose Command…
• Create a new command titled: Change weight for PostalOne
• Enter this command syntax into the large text box: =md_changelb()
• Click Run. You will be prompted to locate the Presort Folder for the Mail.dat files to modify.
• The current weight will be displayed in the popup. Change the weight using the same format, then click OK.

Changing the Mailing Date:
- This is useful when you want to change the Mailing Date on some or all of the Containers.
• Open the database
• From the Edit menu, choose Command…
• Create a new command titled: Change date for PostalOne
• Enter this command syntax into the large text box: =md_mailingdate()
• Click Run. You will be prompted to locate the Presort Folder for the Mail.dat files to modify.
• Change the Start and End Container Number and the Date, then click OK.
o Example: If you can only get trays 1 – 5 out to the post office today, and the rest, i.e., trays 6-10 out tomorrow, you would change the Start and End Container Number to reflect trays 6 – 10.
