Delete Pending Files before running another in a script

If you run a script that automatically opens a file, validates it, and runs it through NCOA, the script will pause if any files are left pending. If there shouldn't be any pending files, you may want to add a command to your script that deletes pending files, so your pending files will be at 0 prior to validation.

In AccuZIP6, pull down the Edit menu to Command, then create a new command. Name the command Delete All Pending Files. In the Command Statement Syntax area, paste the following command:

Code: Select all

Delete File "C:\Program Files\AccuZIP6 5.0\iNCOALink\*.cks"
Close the Command window and close your database, then pull down the Special menu to Script.
Edit your script, then in the Script Editor, add the EDIT menu > COMMAND event.
Select the Delete All Pending Files command. Click Auto Run and click Save.
Move this event to right above the Validate event, then save the script.

Now when you run your script, any pending files will be deleted before your list gets Validated and processed on the NCOALink servers.
