Zebra printer

I've been using a Zebra 2844 thermal peinter for years to do my tray and sack tags. Been a great investment. The continuous tags are easier to work with then tearing up cut sheet tags. Need more info?

inch and a half labels

I'm not 100% sure but I would chack that your form size is set to 12 inches. This would give you 8 down 4 across = 32 labels. I assume these are cheshire labels.

Make sure header and footer bands are set to 0 for height.

Good luck

IMB

When creating a label template in Accuzip I can change the field imbarcode to the correct font and weight. After saving and reopening the label for editing the font has changed back to BOLD for the type wiight. This makes the bars near the upper limit in width to print. If anyone else has had this p...

Single vs multi family

I'm not sure if this will solve your problem. If you select address type when you validate your records this field will be populated with the following info. It's not perfect but it is an option. Address Types Below is a list of codes and their descriptions that appear in the type_ field after valid...

Bryce 24 ans 30k pausing printing

Have a nasty sort? PAUSE YOUR PRINTER BETWEEN TRAYS/SACKS OR BUNDLES GIVE YOUR SORTER A CHANCE TO BAND THE BUNDLES This may help lots. On your label template create a field to print above the top line of your address info. I offset this to the left of the address block. NOTE: USE COURIER 12 POINT FO...

Bryce 24k and 30k - helpful hints - barcode printing

Have barcode bars printed too heavy for you on some stocks? Have you used the generic text driver to make life better? Here is a great way to avoid using the true type barcode font and still have the option for any true type font for your address data. 1) Select the Bryce print driver 2) In control ...

A pallet tag issue this time. Seems as though the pdf converted scrambles the info sent to the printer at times. 1st 2 or 3 pallet tags of a 9 pallet print job printed fine -- the rest were a jumble of numbers and letters which made no sense. From Steves post re: my 1st post - I printed the pallet t...

Some interesting printer issues

Let me start - I'm enjoying what 5.0 offers - been a great help Seems in the earlier versions - I have been able to change default printer from the laser for forms to a zebra thermal printer to print tags while in the print presort screen. Since the latest updates to 5.0 and 4.0 also i think - - cha...

Ram Disk size

I have a system with 1gig memory. After some playing to find to maximum size I was able to set up a 565 meg ramdisk. This is large enough to hold the DPV files. I havn't had any system crashes or noticed any speed problems.

Features I'd love to see

Always looking for things to be easier I'd like the ability to:

Have form 8125 as a seperate print item - as we don't need them if the BMEU is the SCF - would also love to see it print 3 copies as a default

Pallet tags - 2 copies as default

Only cause I hate the copier!!!

Tray and bundle breaks

Would love to see the option to have the tray and package marks be in the 1st or last piece in a presort. Would be very useful for me in my periodical mailings. I use this character to pause my feeder. With it on the last piece in a bundle the feeder pauses before last piece of package is printed. B...
